Background:
Dr. Naoko Winther has an especially unique expertise and background, practicing clinical psychology and counselling for over 30 years of experience in Japan and Canada. Reflecting her passion for riding and taking care of horses, she completed a course of certified Equine Assisted Learning/Therapy (EALT) in USA. She was aiming to pursue to goal integrating Equine Well-Being and Human Well-Being because Human health and Animal health are intrinsically intertwined and interdependent. In order to unite the concept, she started the pioneering area of Equine Assisted Learning/Therapy (EALT) (the psychotherapy for Humans collaborating with horses) in Canada. After joining the clinical practice in RE:Life, she is so pleased to cultivate Equine Assisted Learning/Therapy (EALT) in Malaysia. Her mission is to realize the concept of mutual coexistence (‘Live and Let Live’) with all sentient beings on earth.
